Achieving
and maintaining good diagnostic quality is essential, as with
all nuclear medicine imaging, A high quality study is essential
in order to achieve accurate and consistent image interpretation
and diagnosis. The factors affecting diagnostic quality fall into
two categories: technical aspects such as acquisition, processing
and display and image interpretation aspects. The aim of these
pages is to provide users with information and advice on FP-CIT
SPECT. This advice is a reasonable starting point for any user
who, with experience, should refine protocols to suit local needs
and preferences.
